Is texas a safe place for black women?

I love every color of people so everyone is welcome to chime in. But is texas like super kkk how people say? 🤣🤣 are me and the kids safe to get a house there ? Is it a good place to raise kids? What part of texas do yall recommend most for family life thats not too country and remote? Houston? Dallas? Austin? San antonio? DIVERSITY is important to us. Give me the honest breakdown! thanks in advance!

My husband and I are an interracial couple and we’ve lived in Cypress for over 5years it’s just right outside of Houston close to the country areas like Waller and Hempstead but it’s still pretty much city living and it’s perfect for raising a family. I went to Prairie View which isn’t far & I’d for sure say Houston is super diverse.

I would say Houston is probably the most diverse as far as people and food! Although Austin and Dallas are diverse too. I’m from Houston and we have people from all over the country and the world!

Texas is safe for black women and all minorities. Texas is actually incredibly diverse and welcoming to all.

Houston and Austin would be my top two choices, there’s so much to do, great food, awesome schools and medical care! I’m surprised to hear people think Texas is even like that, it’s 2025😂 but Houston is great and has lot of opportunity. The only thing with all of the bigger cities is traffic, and Austin is over populated so the traffic is the worst there

I’m in Houston Texas. It the most diverse state iv every been in. Theres people from all over the work here. Haven’t gotten any kkk vibes at all . Been here only two years tho . Cypress, katy, are good places to look into Best thing to do is to come a visit.

traveling through Texas can be dangerous bc there are little pockets of racist towns in the rural areas. major cities are safe, houston is probably the most diverse

Houston is definitely diverse. Jasper is one of the place I've been that's racist. My husband is white so he gave me a heads up before we went there. We were visiting family that just located there
