Gaining popularity for girls, but doesn’t do it for me. James is a masculine name. Will always be a boys name for me. Sorry!! I like all of your first name choices though!
I love it as a middle name. So sweet
Personally i dont like it but do what you want. To me it just seems like you really wanted a boy instead.
I like it in the middle spot
Yes middle name is cool . I love willow or winnie as the first name
I love really feminine girls names (Lottie is one of my faves actually!) so I wouldn’t personally go for James however I think it actually works really well with a feminine first name and I love middle names that have a personal meaning. James is generally considered a boys name however people definitely use it as a girls name. I’m sure Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds daughter is called James! I say go for it! 😊🤷♀️
We're using James as a middle name for our little girl as it's a family name.
I think it’s lovely as a middle! Lottie James is gorgeous. I know a Sienna James and I think it’s gorgeous too! Xx
I like it as a middle name. Middle names can be ANYTHING & how lovely to honour her Dad
@Diana we dont even know what we're having yet. Last baby and hubby has mentioned he'd like his name somewhere. Its not as deep as you're making it seem 😂😂
What about Joyce James? In honour of James Joyce. Or Molly James
It sounds like a last name if anything for a girl but what do I know? 😂 Plus my random opinion shouldn’t matter. You guys are the parents. Go with your hearts.
I would say James as a middle name for a girl is super popular at the moment! What are your other kids names so we can see which name goes best as all your options are beautiful
I personally wouldn’t use it but it’s your baby 🥰

I have twins, one of my girls name is Sienna James! I love it!
to me, James is still a more masculine name but it is one that is becoming more gender-neutral in society, so I definitely don't think it's weird - especially as a middle name, and you've paired it with such pretty, feminine first names, it's a nice balance. my favourite name from your list is Lottie James. i think Pippa James would be cute! 💕
I think Bodhi, Molly, Penelope, Romi, Mila and Willow sounds cute others Cleo, Elsie, Gemma, Zara, Daisy, Ruby, Vera
The more I think about it the more I really like James as a middle name for a girl! Especially paired with a really feminine first name.
Yes James totally works for a girl! I like all your options, you might also like: Willa James Dottie James Goldie James Pippa James Indie James Callie James Hallie James Alba James Effie James Sylvie James Margot James Tilly/Tillie James Calla James
I love the name James for a girl but my husband does not. Willow James sounds really nice.
I don’t like it. I support whatever a parent decides for their child. I think there are unisex names that work nicely but have never preferred James as one of them.
I love boy names for a girl, my daughter is called Stevie after my husband, he's named after his dad. At first I said it as a joke that if he died before she was born she could have the middle name Stevie but then it grew on me and quickly became the front runner for girl names. I've only once had somebody say that it's a boys name. It suits her. My son also has the middle name Blair which I've heard used more commonly used for a girl, but it suits him and we love it. I also have a boy called Callan, but we call him Cally which again is a feminine name but it just fits for him.
I hope you have one named after you! The dad shouldn't be the only one with that honor...
I use to nanny a baby in my early 20’s. Her name was Luella Jaymes. It was so unique.
@Carrie oh god no, i hate my name!
Declan James!! I nannied a little girl named Declan and I just love that name for a girl
