I think this largely depends on your job! I find balancing work and my son an almost impossible task as I’m constantly so exhausted. I found things a lot easier being at home especially with having time to do cleaning/ washing and the energy to maintain quality time with my partner alongside caring for my son
I work 3 days a week from home, my son goes to day care those days and it’s an absolute dream. Gives me time with my son still, but the ability to have a career and a break for myself. To me working full time and being a SAHM are both equally difficult!
i can’t answer that, bcos i feel like stay at home parent would be hard af, like i had a period of unemployment for 4 months due to mental health and i loved being with my baby but i was exhausted mentally, physically and i just didn’t feel like my own person, but i am a level 3 nursery worker, so i work in childcare, i only do 3 days but its like i take care of kids all day and then go home and take care of my own, so my work doesn’t feel like the break that some describe 🤣 tempted after my next mat leave to try a new job but ive no idea what and my only qualification is childcare! Xx
I've been both a SAHM and a working parent, and for me being at home is easier. It's so hard to balance everything at home when you're working! My house was spotless and ran like clockwork when I was at home!
Having a days work is like a day off to me ! And I work with people who have substance misuse and mental health issues 😂👍🏽 x
