Costco by public transport

How do I get to Costco by public transport? What’s closer, tram or bus? And where would I get off? I would prefer not to take a taxi cause it’s expensive from where I live but also wondering if public transport is worth it if I would have to walk a long distance as I have kids. 🤔

@Ashleigh💕 I’m in Westhoughton

Have you thought more about getting home with all the bits you buy seeing as everything is bulk buy? If getting to Costco will be difficult for you, I couldn’t imagine getting public transport with kids home plus everything you buy. I guess you have but just wanted to mention it. I don’t know if you’ve been to Costco before either but if you’re going to try and save money, most supermarkets have very similar prices when you actually go, the prices shown are without VAT. It gets added a checkout so it looks like you’re getting a better deal than you are🥲 plus if it’s your first time going, you have to buy a membership so another added cost. Just wanted to mention it with you saying a taxi would be expensive xxx

There are some things worthwhile but a lot you can also get at similar prices elsewhere. You can buy online too depending what you’re after?

I’d say Trafford is easier to get to than Oldham… take tram or bus to Trafford centre and it’s over the road.

@Emily I’ll be getting a taxi back home it’s £40 so I want to avoid paying it both ways. And I only pay £2 a month for the membership as I get it through my employer.

@Emma thanks love
