Health anxiety!

I started feeling unwell at the end of December, I ended up going to the GP at the end of January because I just couldn’t function anymore. I had a full blood count and CRP done, it came back that my platelets were high and my CRP was high. I had the test repeated and my platelets went down but not into the normal range but my CRP got even higher so I had to have them repeated again. I’ve just got my CRP back and it’s still raised, 9.8 and it should be between 0-5. Still waiting for FBC results. My dr is aware of my health anxiety and she apologised and said she couldn’t reassure me as these results are red flags for cancer and I’ve been so anxious and have been feeling sick to my stomach since. Has anyone else had high platelets and CRP and it’s turned out to be nothing? I’m worrying so much it’s impacting my parenting because I’ve got in my head so much. Please please someone respond

I had high platelets in pregnancy but they have returned to normal and was told I could have had a little infection my body has fought off naturally. However, I’m no expert but from what I’ve been told it could be your body fighting infection ( not always serious ) and if you’re not well your body will be doing everything to get you better whether it being something minor. There’s a number of reasons why it can be high not always the dreaded C word. With someone who struggles everyday with health anxiety and some days it’s so consuming, avoid google and really try to put it to the back of your mind until you know why. Harder said than done but realistically it’s not the worse case scenario. Hope this reassurance helps 🩷

I’m not pregnant. I’m 11 months postpartum :( they prescribed me folic acid and vitamin D and I’ve felt so much better since I started them so I thought it was just deficiencies as I read they can cause it but it seems it’s not that :(
