Yup, even in pregnancy I started having sugar in tea, which was unusual as I have not had it regularly since I was a teen. What happened is that if you are breastfeeding, it takes a lot of energy and calories to produce the milk so your body wants that quick fix that sugar provides to replenish that energy. It could also be the sleep deprivation making you crave sweets. It sounds like you are generally a healthy person, but if you are worried, try increasing healthy protein and fats -yogurts, cheese, nuts, avocado etc. Even a bit of dried fruit might help. I try having prunes to help baby with constipation as it goes through to him by the breast milk. Not gonna lie, kitkats have been bought in bulk from costco, so I am no saint! 🤣
I stayed strong till week 30 and I find myself already two honey buns in this morning. I am overweight so I feel extra guilty but before this I was eating super healthy (fruits, veggies, meat and low carb as well as low calorie with 70-100 oz of water). I don’t want to gain unnecessary weight but I also want sugar and carbs so bad 😭
Omg I’m so glad it’s not just me. I had gestational diabetes while pregnant so I legit barely had any sugar during that time, and before I never even liked sweets really. but ever since I gave birth I’ve been craving EVERYTHING sugary
Me everyday
if you eat healthy most of the time there’s no reason you can’t have a sweet treat in my opinion! i have sweets way more than i’d like to admit lol
yes!! i thought i was just being greedy but the galaxy & maltesers had to stay stocked in this house!😭😭🤣
