Not sure what to think of this bleeding…

Hi guys, I should be 5+3 today but on Monday morning I got brown staining when I wiped this progressed that evening to red blood, no clots this was lighter than a normal period with mild cramps, it the completely stopped yesterday morning and fine all day yesterday and the bleeding is now back again but lighter! The EPU said I have to wait and see and just test in 2 weeks, they won’t scan this early! I have been experiencing extreme tiredness and my immune system is shot! These are all symptoms I got in my last pregnancy but I’m fully aware they are also symptoms of a miscarriage! I’m obviously just clinging onto a little hope that I could still be pregnant but I’m so confused and in such limbo!
