Having my baby today!

He started coming naturally last night. And today is his due date. FTM. I wanted to go unmedicated, but hadn't slept in over 24 hours and opted for the epidural, which definitely wasn't in the plan and I know I'm going to have to work through some feelings around that later. But at this point, I just can't wait for him to get here, happy and healthy.🩵 Sending all you March mommas love. 🫶 (I feel like I should add, I do not judge anyone for choosing an epidural. I just had my heart set on something different and am feeling the emotions of having to do something different than what I envisioned for 9 months).

Good luck!! Things may not go as planned but baby will be here and that’s the most important thing you both end up being healthy. Good luck and congrats!!

I also wanted to go unmedicated but the intensity of the contractions were so bad I had to because they didn't want me to push without my doctor getting there first (my body was bearing down hard against my will) 😬 the epidural took care of that and he was born ~30 minutes later. I'll still take the win as getting as close to a natural birth as possible😅

Good luck. Having a baby definitely changes you for the better. Baby love is amazing

Good luck! I feel you on things not going as expected… I needed an emergency c-section after 4 hours of pushing. My doctor said I did everything right, but his head wouldn’t fit through my pelvis. Sometimes babies have their own plans ☺️ Hoping all goes well for you from here on out! He’ll be in your arms soon ♥️

I also gave in to the epi after trying to go unmedicated (‘: went 11 hours without anything and couldn’t do it anymore. Don’t beat yourself up. I understand your disappointment but labor is a badass thing to endure with or without 🤍
