Sunscreen

Anyone used, or pediatrician recommended use of sunscreen for babies younger than 6 months? Mine suggested one with zinc as the only ingredient but the label says not for use before 6mo

hmm, I've heard some peeps say zinc is okay for little ones, but yeah, it’s tricky with those labels, maybe just keep them in the shade for now? here's what the 'Heal Baby Care App' says.... "It's generally recommended to avoid using sunscreen on babies younger than 6 months, as their skin is very sensitive. Instead, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests keeping infants in the shade, dressing them in protective clothing, and using hats to shield them from the sun. If a pediatrician has recommended a zinc oxide sunscreen, it may be for specific situations, but it's important to follow the product's guidelines. Have you been able to keep your baby out of direct sunlight during outings?

Moogoo baby sunscreen is great - I used it at 5mo as we were on holiday and I couldn’t guarantee she would be out of the sun at all times
