Hunger

I’ve been trying to lose weight but I’m always feeling hungry even after eating good meals. Any tips on how to feel fuller for longer? I’m really struggling and need help. Also looking at starting the gym, any tips on that for a new comer would be amazing. Trying to fit it around work and having my son most of the week.

Hey! I used to try and drink a glass of water when I still felt hungry after a meal. Sometimes I feel hungry because I have a craving for something and as soon as I get my craving I'm good.

Are you breastfeeding? I’ve gained 12 pounds in 6 months because of how hungry I am since I breastfeed. Anyway, up your protein intake! You should be eating 1 gram per body weight. For example, I weigh 155. I should be eating 150g of protein everyday. Helps you stay full for longer and it helps with body recomposition for the gym!

Long lasting carbs brown bread rice and pasta and lots and lots of protein

I'm a CPT & CNC, I suggest higher fiber foods, eat your calories vs drink them, recalculate your caloric needs (BMR and your TDEE) if you've been in a deficit for awhile, you may need to reverse out, eat in maintenence for awhile then start again to give for system time to recoup

How much are u drinking

Lots and lots of protein

Honestly a waist trainer curves my appetite. I just put my new one on and I was hungry and now I’m not even thinking of food

I have spent SO much of my life trying to lose weight and I have a trainer now and everything makes so much more sense. I used to count calories, do endless cardio and eat low carb and I was just exhausted and never slept well and I never lost any weight. Now I do 1 hour weight lifting workouts 3x a week and 10k steps a day and the lbs are melting off. The key is to keep increasing your weight so that you are constantly creating microtears and gaining muscle. I started with 10lb weights for a lot of exercises and now I usually do 25-35lbs for most exercises. I would also highly recommend getting a smart scale. You could be doing great and increasing your muscle % but be discouraged by the total weight increasing so it’s good to track your body composition. If you’re doing all of this and eating the right foods including high protein and fiber and hydrating then the quantity shouldn’t matter as much and you shouldn’t come out starving.

A trainer is a great investment in yourself! You get yourself dialed in, you're able to show up more in every other aspect of your life
