@Esmeralda mine drinks 8oz a time but maybe I could try lowering the amount
My boy has 3 9oz bottles a day 🙈
they say they can have 16-24 oz a day
@Marita mine is around the same. My little girl eats a nice 3 meals and snack through out the day but she has about 3 bottles and tbh she asks for one overnight. Each kid is so different I hate when a “ standard “ is made some kids have much bigger appetites than others
@Marita 2-3 cups or 16-24 oz is the suggested amount be careful with to much milk though it can cause anemia
@Esmeralda Yes that’s true. But each provider is also so different our doctor said the most important thing is that their major food source is solids over milk bottles
Do you girls have any tips on them drinking from a straw or sippy cup? My little girl will drink water from a straw cup all day long but once I put her milk in any other cup besides her bottle she gags and totally refused to drink it
Mine won’t drink milk anymore now that we took bottles away at 15 months 🫣

@Cassandra I started at 12 months I refused to give him milk in anything but his straw cup he wouldn’t drink it, it took 2 days but he gave in. He only drinks from a dr browns spill proof cup throughout the day and a straw dr browns bottle for naps and bed time but the straw cups are coming to an end now that he’s 18 months
We're lucky to get down 4 oz a day. She doesn't use a bottle anymore and hasn't really for awhile. She would probably drink more if she still had it, but she eats a lot of yogurt and cheese.
Mine has 20-24 oz a day all doctors are different. My LO loves loves loves his milk lol
4 4.5-5 oz and then a 5.5 oz 30 mins before bed. Baby girl just had her 18 month well visit and the doctor didn't say anything about her milk consumption. She eats well and drinks plenty of water.
If he still eats well and not prefering the bottle I woudlnt worry about it! It's not bad for him to drink milk anyways. It's actually good for him. Just maybe try and switch to a sippy cup, so his teeth won't get messed up from the nipple

honestly my little wont drink milk from anything but a bottle but she sucks her bottle down in seconds. Otherwise she drinks water from a straw all day long . Personally my opinion i don’t see much dental issues with using a bottle for a few mins a day
@Mic from a bottle or different cup? My little girl LOVES milk too but only wants it from a bottle 😭
18 oz we do 6 oz when he wakes up, nap time, & when he goes to bed
