Advice needed on Dual Language Immersion Program for my kindergartener

My 6-year-old kindergartener is struggling in her Spanish DLI class, particularly with sight words, the alphabet, and word retention despite repeated review. She’s also showing early signs of dyscalculia in math, but is stronger in this subject. Last year, in an all-English TK class she did well, but this year she’s having trouble progressing. I’m unsure whether to pull her out and would love advice from parents of DLI kiddos. Thanks in advance!

I am not a parent to a DLI. But to touch on dyslexia, I would get her tested and then get an IEP because if you pull her out, she can still struggle somewhere else if she doesn’t get the help she needs. IEPs starting that young can benefit her because you are getting ahead of it. This is coming from personal experience as someone with learning disabilities.

@Destiny Thank you for sharing, appreciate it.
