Not taking bottle and hardly any food

I may be over-reacting but I’m just worrying so much 😭 My 9 month old has refused all 4 of his bottles today and has only consumed fruit purées and a yoghurt. Over the past few days he’s had a viral infection (runny nose and cough) took him to the doctors and said he should be over it in the next few days and to just keep giving him calpol. But his milk intake has decreased to nothing. He’s also been teething and only recently started attending nursery, he went today as he seemed better in himself but very little has been consumed. I feel at a loss because I don’t want him to be hungry or dehydrated and I just don’t know what to do for him 😭

Phone 111, if baby has less than half their feeds they might need to go to go to hospital might get dehydration x

Is he having wet and dirty nappies? Has he drank any water? When you say refused all 4 bottles has he had a bottle at all? Even a few oz’s? Like said above is he’s had less than 50% of his usual milk intake and less than 4 wet nappies in 24 hours he could be dehydrated. I would avoid 111 as they are so useless and go straight to an urgent care x

@Bec thank you I’ve rang them, waiting on an out of hour gp to ring back x

@Elena he’s had two dirty nappies and 2 wet, he’s had a little water today and 5oz of bottle at 6 this morning. I’ve rang 111 waiting on an out of hour gp to ring me back. thank you for your advice x

He’s probably dehydrated if it were me I’d go straight to urgent care! Make sure baby is okay!

@Nicole how's babe doing now??x
