If you didn’t sleep train how and when did your baby start sleeping alone?

My baby is almost 1 year and has always been cuddled to sleep and then transferred to his cot. I am strongly against sleep training so that’s not even a consideration but just wondering for those who didn’t sleep train, when did your baby start sleeping by themselves and were they able to just lay in their cot and fall sleep or what kind of transition happened to get to that point?

My 2 year old falls sleep in our bed and then we move him when he’s asleep. Our 1 year old stays in his crib and goes to sleep on his own with his bottle and/or pacifier. Our 2 year old used to do the same so probably soon my 1 year old will soon start to fall asleep with us and then be moved

I still lay with my 2.5 year old while she goes to sleep. I doubt she would stay in bed if I left her. She likes me to lay with her when she goes to bed it's actually a really lovely part of the day to chill and cuddle while she drops off x

I’m not really sure how we managed it but from 7mths old we started putting her in her cot in her own room with a toy and a book and she would fall asleep herself. Then we got a Tonie box for her 1st birthdays so she got used to her routine of choosing a tonie to put on and she falls asleep to that now. She’s 2.5 now. She’s never slept in our bed. She asks to go to bed at 7.30pm

I just hand mine a bottle and play brown noise and he goes to sleep, without the bottle probably not lol
