Could be implantation bleeding, contact gp if scared but blood is actually common in first trimester
Thank you! So this isn’t an a&e job? Sorry my first pregnant and tried for 6 years so super anxious
Just tor reassure you bleeding in pregnancy is very common my first midwife told me they estimate up to 80% of pregnancies have bleeding but yeah it is totally petrifying. I would contact your early pregnancy assessment unit at the hospital. They will be able to offer some reassurance and / or do an internal ultra sound at the point where they would be able to see something. I think this is usually around 6 weeks. Hope you’re ok thinking of you!
@Nicola Im 5 weeks 3 days today. The hospital dr was so lovely but she told me the 2 options it could be which is obvious anyway light bleeding that’s normal or MC. Praying it’s not MC. They’ve booked me into the early pregnancy unit for 11am today to check my bloods and hgc levels and determine the urgency for a scan. I’ve been praying all night and I’ve also had no other blood or spotting since this photo is all I’ve had 🙏🏼
I had quite a bit of implantation bleeding during my first pregnancy, it's very common. I've got my fingers crossed for you x
@Kelly thank you 🙏🏼
I’d contact your GP in the morning. If it gets any worse or you start to develop cramps, I’d go to A+E x
