Raise the cot under his head end - just a few inches - to help drain his airways. Vicks vapour rub on his feet. Olbas oil on a tissue & waft it over them to spread the smell and vapours. It’s horrible isn’t it. My lil boy is just recovering from bronchiolitis and it’s been nasty ☹️ Good luck!!

They can have the Calpol plug in from 3 months I think. We also sat them in their bouncer seat while we had showers for the steam. Saline spray and snot sucker helped too

@Kathryn thank you so much! I wonder what the science behind Vicks on feet is. It’s horrible and I hope your baby gets well soon!

@Nell thank you! Do you spray then suck snot out of just spray and leave it?

I spray and leave it for a few seconds if I can see there's stuff in her nose. If she just sounds snotty but I can't see anything immediately I leave it a little longer

nasal aspirators are life saver. We just been through the first cold, turned into coughs, used the snot sucker, saline spray, glycerol cough syrup, olbas oil. Shes better now. i swear by the snot sucker couldn’t have managed without it

Frida nose sucker, saline nasal drops/spray and the calpol plug-in for overnight have saved us this week with baby’s first cold too!

Thank you so for the tips ❤️❤️❤️

All of the above and randomly, placing in the bathroom with the shower on to steam off the chest helped us so much too x
