How old?

@Stefyy shes 6 months

yes this is normal. they don’t know how to use all their extremities yet. she’s learning how toes work lol

Yessss. They do tons of weird stuff at this point. Like Morgan said — they’re literally trying to figure out what toes even do 🤣

Thank you @Morgan I just thought I might be painful since she bounces on her big to a lot

Totally normal

Absolutely normal she’s exploring the texture of the carpet & the fact that her toes move at all LOL

some of the best advice our pediatrician gave was “babies are weird, enjoy it” 😂

I just wouldn’t use the bouncer for too long! I noticed my son progressed so much more once we ditched the bouncer

Yes lol my baby did this up until she started learning to walk

Hey not shaming just advice. Try not to leave baby on bouncer too long I’ve heard it can create problems later on and although it might be normal now it might become a problem later on.

Normal

Yes normal, I was the same, and worried too as my little one was doing it but it's just cuz they don't know what they doing with their feet and toes yet She'll learn soon 🩷

This is not a problem but can become a problem if you don’t ditch the bouncer, it delays the ability to walk and hip strengthening even with moderate use

It's normal my daughter would do the same she always liked how the carpet felt as well as tried to pull on it 😅

This is totally normal. They do say they maybe shouldn’t use a bouncer until they can flatten their feet on the ground, but mine flattens his feet while jumping and also does some funny things with his feet. They also start to curl their toes at this age to help them grip the carpet so they can push off them when they are learning to crawl. I would just make sure you’re incorporating floor time to help him learn to crawl. This will help develop his spine correctly.
