Def a chiropractor bonus points if the chiropractor takes X-rays before actually doing adjustments too
Find a chiropractor who believes muscles should be warm and relaxed before adjustments 😉 Gets you a bonus massage haha
Definitely go to the chiropractor but massage also helps. Most good chiros that do x-rays first will include massage too if it's what your body needs. Adjustments are what saved my body pregnancy and postpartum this time around. I really recommend lomi lomi/kahuna massage it's great for relaxing and resetting your nervous system which helps with sleep and it's good for postpartum lymphatic drainage too.
Yes, my back was terrible for ages after my son was born and it started getting better after I started lifting again. You don't have to weightlift, but doing streches at home and some light exercise like push ups does wonders. There are lots of youtube videos on back streches you can try
Physio! I thought I was falling apart after I gave birth but my physiotherapist pointed out that my whole body mechanics had changed now that I was moving differently from carrying a baby all the time. She showed/reminded me how to bend, lift, etc properly again and the pain started to resolve. Only needed one appointment
Strength exercises have been helping me. The moment I feel a twinge, I do kitchen bench push ups, squats and light deadlifts.
@Elisabeta Furtuna I weight lift but what’s killing me is the cosleeping but this boy won’t sleep otherwise 😭
@Sophia I see, then maybe a chiropractor could help as you could have some bones that need readjustment
Def chiropractor! One that can be covered by insurance.
