Do you park at the parent and child parking spaces when heavily pregnant?

Just wondering as I’m struggling to get in and out of my car when using the normal space

I haven’t done but wouldn’t have any issue with somebody that did x

We did as our car is low and I couldn't get out without having the door wide open

No, I just parked farther away/around less cars. Even now with my kid I try to leave those spaces for families with 2+ kids who may have to wrangle toddlers in a dangerous parking lot.

It does say on the signs that heavily pregnant woman are allowed to - I did in those last few weeks x

I sure did mama!!! I also used the cart buggy’s cause my hips would literally give out if I stood or walked too long.

You are technically disabled now and with child. Do both

I don't remember seeing them when pregnant, but I guess they must have been there as they were after I had my son, so probably not. I really don't remember. Though we still park in them when there are no disability parks (we have a mobility/disability sticker for my son and myself) though we try not to as most parents here are very argumentative and we just don't want to get into it but if there is alot of parks open we will.

im not heavily pregnant yet and still park in them. take advantage lol it's the only time in your life you can use those parkings.

As a mother with three kids…use that parking space momma

I never did as I didn't think I could? I tried to find a space beside a trolley bay which would allow me to leave more space on the drivers side, or at the end of a row.

I did when I was on my own, but if my husband was with me he would just let me out the car before going into a space or come out the space before I got into the car.

These don’t exist anywhere I’ve ever lived

I have parked in the handicap, I have used the electric wheel chairs in the grocery stores, I’m taking advantage of everything I can while pregnant if I need it ! lol

I didn’t with my first and wouldn’t now I’m pregnant with my second. It’s so stressful trying to park in the carpark with my toddler getting him out of normal spaces which can be so tight if someone parks really close up beside you. I leave those spaces for people with children only. If I’m on my own and want more space I just park far away where no one parks

Where do you live that there’s parent and child parking? I always wish we had that here

Yes always. People park in them when they have teenagers. Old people park in them.

I wish that those parking spaces were a thing here

We don't have those here, but I would have if we did

I’ve got a 6.5 week old and can honestly say that I probably needed the wide spaces more when heavily pregnant than I do now to get the baby out of the car. I had real trouble getting in and out of the car if anyone parked too close to me. Not to mention it was painful standing up/sitting down anyway. I’d give up the mother and baby space to a pregnant person any day!

I always did! The child is within me.. I am a parent and child! Feel free to use the space anyone has an issue just growl at them.
