Maybe your hormones and your brain are trying to process all of the sudden changes especially now that labor is near, increasing anxiety. Is this your first?
Cor yes i definitely have pregnancy insomnia and see the clock every hour 💀 there’s literally nothing I can do and it’s been like this for months now. I’m 35 weeks x
Yes my first, once awake I don’t feel scared or anxious about labour but maybe subconsciously I do. I’m trying to get a nap in the day but can’t in the week with work!
I’ve suffered with insomnia postpartum and then in pregnancy. I’ve found magnesium to be so helpful. I use an expensive one but it’s been fab.
@Sophie as in magnesium cream? X
I use this one … I stopped using for a bit as thought I couldn’t justify the money. But symptoms returned. Using again and I’m good! https://www.bodykind.com/supplements-c11/minerals-c52/magnesium-c54/viridian-magnesium-bisglycinate-120-vegicaps-p7902
Yeah, I think since this is your first time, your body is feeling the jitters. Probably can't sleep because your body feels like it trying to get ready For go time
I’m the same here. I can feel I’m tired but the minute I close my eyes my mind fires up and I think about EVERYTHING. I’m not even napping throughout the day to catch up either anymore like I did when the problem first started. Currently sat downstairs having a cup of tea to try and calm my mind and relax
