9 month old drinking only 10oz of formula per day

My 9 month old son has always been fussy drinking formula since he was around 4 months old (was never breastfed). Over the past month he’s dropped from drinking on average 25-30oz of formula per day to 10-12oz. He’s eating some solids but doesn’t seem like it’s nearly enough to sustain him. He’s also not yet able to eat solids that have a consistency any chunkier than purées (he gags then throws up, like even well mashed banana).

He is 17lbs and doc said he’s doing okay but something just doesn’t seem right.

Has anyone gone through/is going through something similar? Any advice on what I should do?

My son dropped from a 27 is oz to 20+ oz . This started when he started going to day care/ got sick a few times etc. It's a struggle to get him to drink the last 2 or 3 oz and I have to pick him up and walk around for him to drink. 10 to 12 oz is way too less from 25 to 30. A 9 month old should drink 24 to 32...and I have been trying to get him to drink 22 to 24 oz everyday with 2 to 3 solids.
One thing I would say do supplement him with vit d- as your son isn't prob getting the right amount.
I try to get him hungry and tired by playing/ let him army crawl around/ etc. Also does your baby sleep at night? His last feed is by 6.30 and he wakes up at 6.30 am and is soo hungry that he takes 7 to 9 oz in a go first thing. The rest of the day is a hit or miss.
You should really try to get more milk in your baby or see another pediatrician

update! We switched his formula from a powder form to ready to feed and started giving it to him in a straw cup which has been a huge success so far! Knock on wood I’m not jinxing myself but I hope this might help you!

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
