(How) Do you burp baby when they’re sleeping?
When my son falls asleep at the end of the bottle (I do burp midway through) I can’t get him to burp. I am also unable to wake him for it as he’s just too tired.
Do you still burp when asleep and if so how do you do it? Any tips welcome!

My 9 week also falls asleep on breast and I find it hard to burp her asleep, most the time unluckily. I try over shoulder and on knee.
Sometimes she does not every time though
I’ll try for a while and if she’s not burping I’ll just give in and let her sleep
I do, do over the shoulder and also do leg movements, he’ll stay asleep through both but does still burp and fart 😊 he’s a terror for falling asleep with me on the bottle in the middle of the night so if I don’t do it while he sleeps I’m back up within an hour as he gets uncomfortable x
I gently roll my little upright on my chest and pat her back, but she does stay asleep
