Using utensils

How good are they supposed to be at this age? My LB still enjoys using hands over spoons etc. He is good with the spoon, scooping things by himself and then bring to his mouth. But he then somehow turns the spoon as it enters his mouth and most of the contents falls off 🙃 I show him every mealtime. I guide his hand, but he still does it lol. I'm not concerned, just curious. He isn't using a fork yet though
