We have a normal light but we swapped the bulb to a red light one so we could leave it on during the night
We have a few of these, we use one in her room and have another we travel with. It brightens and dims on touch, and when she gets cranky, you can put it in colour mode where it cycles through colours until you touch it to stop. Always stops a tantrum 😂 https://amzn.eu/d/g3E4bhS

@Natalie aww that's cute dose it change colour? X
@Jenny you had me at tantrum 🤣 it looks good I might get this for his big boy room. We have a white noise that has a light on but it's so bright in his small room x
Yeah it can change colour or you can set on whatever colour you want, we just have it on red constantly as I believe red light is good for sleep x
We have a Hatch for my 5 year old, and a VTech mini soother for use when 1.5 yo is in our room and not in with his brother. We picked these because they do white noise and light, and can make routines (they both work as ready to wake clocks) and because we wanted either WiFi or Bluetooth access and not to deal with buttons. We like being able to increase the white noise sounds a few notches when there's fireworks or loud neighbours. The Hatch is more reliable. VTech is great when it works, but the app can be glitchy and either deleted routines, copied routines a bunch of times and made it hard to find the right one, or occasionally has unpaired itself snet needed a button to re-pair. The Hatch is also really nice for you controlling the volume and the light, as it's a sliding 0-100 level system and not set notches/levels like the Vtech. I'd often find VTech volume 50% was too quiet and 60% too loud. Both allow for customisable colours for the light. Both have songs and different white noise sounds.
