I have some cups called dinky cups Been using them since little one was 6 months old. He can drink from them himself but does make mess
I used a smallish normal cup. We sat on the kitchen floor during summer or outside many many times and I would let her have a go. Start with only a little bit of water and keep saying use both hands to hold the cup. She was soaked in the beginning but had a blast 😅 she was just over 12 months old when I did this
Bibado cups (got them from TK Maxx) are great! Easy for our wee man to hold on to. He's been using them since he was about 7 months old.
I can't find them on Amazon now but we got some small open cups, no handles, and we started him with them from 6 months when he started drinking water. I would hold the cup to his mouth at first to encourage and over time he got better at doing it himself. As he got bigger we got bigger cups for him to use. He didn't use cups with handles/ straws/ lids etc until after he already knew how to use an open cup.
Stuck on the munchkin 360s right now. She does okay with open cups if its small and filled half way or less.
We just got a normal cup from ikea. It was like £1 for 6. We just practiced at mealtimes
Thanks everyone 😊
I had the munchkin 360 cup for awhile and both of my kids took to it under 1 but as early as I could I gave them open cups filled really low and gradually increased the amount until about half
Tommee Tippee do cups with handles with a straw in, which is what we used with our little boy before he started using open cups.
