Day care/ play group help

Hey guys, I am new to California, I am looking for some good options to help my 2.3 yr old daughter to grow. I see here in san diego cost of day care is too high so I want to check any other good option my husband earns but that is just good for our survival we are not able to accommodate day care fee in our budget, on the other side I want my daughter to learn and grow. Can anyone please help. TIA

Some school districts even have early headstart, and you take them 4 hours a day. Early head start is for kids below 3 yo and head start Is for kids between 3 and 5
