Hypothyroidism Diagnosed Late

Hi everyone! My doctor found out that I have higher levels of TSH and low levels of free T4, pointing to hypothyroidism (though mild). I'm already 21 weeks, and am worried that this has already impacted my baby. Has anyone else gone through this before?

I’ve had thyroid issues since 16 I’m 33 now and of course had it through pregnancy it didn’t effect baby aslong as on the right dose everything will be fine xx

I've had hypothyroidism since I was 21, now 38. Been through 2 pregnancies. Now they know they can get you on meds, baby will be fine

Have all your other labs been normal?

I’ve been diagnosed since 6 weeks. So far all good and healthy…. I just take a medication every day

Are you on medication for it now?
