Still not potty trained

I attempted last summer and he just wasn’t ready. Going to try this bank holiday weekend 🤞🏼

We was the same took us 3 days. Second day he use the potty 3 times. 4 day from the morning he start to say when he have wee or poo. I still put nappies during the night. He is potty trained 1 week already with no accident during the day. Some night he have dryy napiess in the morning but sometime they was full. I think he start to say because i left him 5 min max with wet pants and he doesnt like it,but i try to explain he need to do the poo and wee in the potty. Hope that make sence and good luck x I give him a sticker reward and is verry happy after he wee or poo because know he will get sticker after this x

My daughter lulls us into a false sense of security by going a few days, even a week without an accident, then she willfully sits & wees on my carpet. I did realise recently part of it was getting too tired in the afternoon when she didn't nap & helping her get more sleep helped. She can go a day without a nap ok, but she starts to struggle with more than that. I still mostly have to tell her to go or make her go rather than her telling me. We also have a weird backwards baby who's totally cracked pooing on the potty, she'll put herself on the potty if she needs a poo but still wets herself sometimes. I put her in a pullup for a day at Sundown this week because I don't trust her enough without. She didn't have any accidents & I made her go wee 3 times while we were there. But I'm not confident enough in her to go without a pullup yet. She's getting there, slowly.

@Toni we’ve been trying for last 5 months lol. He don’t want to use the potty only the toilet as it’s an extra step we want to eliminate. He knows to use it but just cba lol stickers no longer excite him 🫣😩

We have tried twice and he's just not been ready. What I will say is accidents like that are normal, we just don't talk about it enough. He might not be getting the signals from his body early enough which is sensory development and will come in time. Ignore the whole "should have done it by now" as it's about development, not age ❤️
