Candy or no Candy?

I volunteered to make the Easter favors for my kid’s class Easter Tea Party. Can’t decide whether to do playdoh with an Annie’s fruit snack or playdoh and another toy. Pics in comments

Offering a mix of options would be ideal, as it ensures that those with allergies or religious dietary restrictions can also have something suitable

Those lil ppl want candy I'll do candy but like two pieces and some coloring activities with crayons and of course a toy or two

As someone who throws away a ton of little toys that come in goody bags from parties, kids meals, dentist and doctor’s offices….. I’d say the candy. If I don’t want my child to eat it, I take it for myself lol

I’d suggest the toy unless you know everyone’s dietary restrictions and parental preferences. It will end up being a head ache if not. (Not trying to offend anyone) you may end up with an angry parent or 2 because of food dyes or allergies.

I know all dietary restrictions and the Annie’s fruit snacks will meet them (no dyes, no nuts and no gluten). I was just worried about how some parents felt about little toys vs candy. I myself can’t decide which one is worse lol since the poll is split almost 50/50 I’m going to do a mix of both and let parents pick what’s best for their kids.

I see pros and cons to both I just want to say those are the cutest darn eggs I've ever seen and I wish I had them!

@Amber thank you! I got them from Michael’s. On sale now at 50% off. It was like $1.50 for a pack of three. I saw them and immediately volunteered to do the favors just so I could buy them 😂🫣😅

No candy, the teachers and parents will thank you
