Pasta, potatoes, couscous
Yes I was going to say the same! Potatoes! My little girl also loves pasta. If I am in a rush, I’ll make my own sauce with some butter, minced garlic, lemon and Parmesan cheese. She could eat the whole pan if I let her.
Potatoes (sweet or white), breads/rolls, pastas, beans, couscous, lentils, you have options!!
Lentils,Farro, barley, couscous, brown rice, grits, polenta, beans, roasted veggies, squash especially spaghetti squash, sweet potatoes

Sometimes we have w a side of mash- potatoes or sweet potatoes. Or I make a quinoa or couscous salad. Or the meal is a soba noodle meal in broth. We eat a lot of rice too though, we’re Asian 💁🏻♀️😂 it’s inevitable. We always have a side of garlic bread I’m pretty sure that’s why my fam hardly gets sick, all the garlic I’m feeding them 😂
Potatoes, breads and pastas (no enriched flours)
Rice + beans are also a complete vegetarian protein But farro, barley, quinoa (I personally like them all together and I use this blend instead of rice and it has a higher fiber and protein content than white rice) You can always just fancy up your rice with additional grains instead of a full substitute as well because some of the grains if you don’t eat them often are kinda an acquired taste
@Asha I have never heard some of these things but will definitely look into them and incorporate them some how.
Thanks ladies I’ve been looking to introduce variety of meals in my home and this is a gold mine so many things to try thanks
