Confuzzled. 😵‍💫

This probably seems like silly question but I want actual persons opinions. When did you turn your toddler around from rear facing to front facing if you have? I've read what it says online and whatnot but I'm still confused a bit on what they mean. So when did you all decide to do it if you have done it?

I’ve heard it’s a specific height but then I’ve seen some people still rear face even if the kid has to bend their legs for safety reasons. Honestly I’m not even sure I was about to return my toddler to rear facing at one point

I'm maxing out the rear facing capabilities of our car seat. Thinking of getting a revolving car seat to make it easier as he gets bigger but waiting for a good deal

I am not planning very soon. They are the most safer rear facing in case of an accident.

As long as my carseat allows rear facing. Which i think is 35lb. Not sure the height requirement but we aren't close to it yet.

It says a lot that children under 2 should be rear-facing. But like someone else mentioned it's probably best to max out the capabilities of the car seat in the rear-facing position. I got a convertible car seat so I'll be able to make that change in the future.

I can’t say I have experience as I only have the one March baby, but I’ve heard to try and keep them rear facing as long as physically possible. I feel like our kids will make it known when it get uncomfortable with their legs being bent on the seat

I went with weight height requirements for front facing and my sons ques he has really real long long legs so he got turned around by 18 months he is two next month and already 47 inches tall with is almost 4 feet…

Rear facing as long as possible based on weight. It’s safer. I think my son was about 3, and he is big. If you’re on the fence about it, watch some videos to see what happens to the neck in an accident rear-facing vs front facing.

With my son I had to do it at 6 months because he would freak out and cry until he choked himself and it was dangerous for us to drive. Highly not recommended and I would not have if he would have been ok. I've seen other moms go to 4. With my current baby. We are going to wait and see until she either outgrows the car seat I got her. I think the weight limit is 40lbs and she's currently 22lbs. And then flip it and the weight limit for that is 100lbs
