Working out

I'm three and a half months postpartum. I started working out a month and a half ago. Here is the photo of when I started. I'll post my progress in the comments. I see a big improvement so far, and my weight lifting seems to be getting better also. I went from lifting 30 lbs or so to lifting 70 lbs now. I'm proud of trying to get back to healthy. This being said, I've had a lot of off again on again spotting. It is super confusing 😕 I'm breastfeeding, but it is weird. My ovulations are happening, but I'm not sure what is going on. Thoughts?

Good for you, girl! 💪🏼 no idea about the spotting except that hormone fluctuations postpartum and while breastfeeding are normal. I spotted this time around too, but didn’t with my first, so everyone is different.

I’m thinking spotting could be from over exerting yourself, or return of a regular period…. I’m also about 3mo pp (exclusively breast feeding) and I’ve already had two periods at regular intervals. The only thing that changed for me was how heavy my flow is and how it felt. If you’re noticing other things about your body besides the spotting, it could be something more serious so it might help to bring it up to doc.

you look great!! would you mind sharing with me the kind of workouts you’re doing and possibly what kinda meals you’re enjoying? :)

As for spotting— I started spotting for two weeks straight. Then my period started, so it might be about that time 😅

@Camree I've kind of held back on my meals. I cut out sauces again, which makes a huge difference for me. Like, dont have mayonnaise or ketchup on your food if you do go out to eat. But mainly, cutting back on eating lots of fast food is probably the main thing for me that has caused me to shape up.

@Lauren I've been having spotting every 15 days or so since I gave birth. It is kind of weird for me but there are no other symptoms really.
