Momcozy bottle washer

I just got the momcozy bottle washer and I keep getting white powdery residue when using it ! I used tap water the first time and I figured that’s why it was doing it but then I used distilled water/purified and it’s still doing it . Any advice or anyone know what the powedery residue is ?

It’s mineral buildup from the water. There should be instructions in the manual for how to descale it. I don’t have that exact one but I just descaled ours using a mixture of vinegar and water per the directions.
