Clogged nipple pores?

Hi ladies, As a first-time mum, I am not sure what is normal and what is not. I am pumping only as breastfeeding was too painful for me and my baby had problems with latching. Below I am sharing photo of how my nipples constantly look. There is this white space between the pores. I am removing white parts by exfoliating with the clean towel right after shower. It comes out as white cheese like parts. It is painful when removing but not too much. I am not sure if this is the milk bleb and if it's actually normal. Even with pumping I feel a bit of a pain at the beginning of every session, but after a couple of minutes it goes away. Is this normal, and I am being too sensitive, or is this a reason for my pains? Potentially, could this be something else? Thank you

Maybe tmi but I'm in the exact same boat. Personally thought it's dryness, are you using nipple balm or any moisturizing?

I stopped BF almost a year ago and I had three white bits on my nipples, two worked their own way out a couple of months ago (it’s milk, looked a bit like cheese like you said) one is still in there but I CBA squeezing it out I’ll come in its own time 😂

It could potentially be an infection. I had one about 4 months into exclusively pumping and it wasn’t too bad at first, pretty similar to how you described but quite quickly got worse. When I eventually went to see my doctor she audibly gasped when I showed her 😂 some antibiotics sorted it out in a week. I would get checked just incase.
