Sleeping on Knees

Hi All My little one is 9 months old and when put down for a nap or to go to sleep she is always rolling to her front, tucking her knees under her and sleeping on the side of her face. When I see this I try and correct her but wondering if I should be correcting her? Is this a normal thing? Should I just leave her be? I ask as she keeps ending up with red knees and a red patch on her face from the pressure Much love x x

Yeah, mine still does that at 17 months. A lot of them seem to. I think it's a comfort thing. It's like a fetal position and the pressure on their face / front side is comforting, like in the womb.

My son did that I just left him

My daughter is almost 2 and still does this. I heard a saying the other day which was “you can’t make a happy baby happier” and I love it. If she’s uncomfortable she will move. My daughter also gets little finger marks on her face as she sleeps on her hands too.
