Oh yes,my toddler has been the same for more than 1 week, crying for everything, everything it’s he’s stuff from other kids, grumpy, clingy…I hope will go away soon when will go back to nursery…I was thinking maybe is because I have a 6 weeks old at home but I don’t think so,because he is not jelouse at all,is really gentle and friendly with he’s little brother…I’m more happy to hear that is not only him
@Alexandra I have a little baby too and yeah I don't think it's that. She literally asked me to spoon feed her the other day which was so out of character lol. And to be honest I noticed that some of her daily clothes are starting to be a bit tight so definitely something to do with growth. I just try to ignore her whining as much as possible and ask her random questions to divert her attention. She's also been asking for A LOT of sugary stuff which she doesn't normally want. I'm just letting her as I think it'll pass in a month or so xx
Yeppppp. Feels like she’s out of her depth right now, struggling with everything. I love her to bits and love co-regulating with her but omg I could not wait for nursery drop off this morning 🫠 it’s a lot right now isn’t it
Yeeeeep 🫠 I was wondering whether my LG is going through some sort of growth spurt 🤔
I feel like it’s a growth spurt *and* development leap at the same time here. The “I do it myself” is really kicking in, plus lots of imaginative play and making up words (“mummy’s a ploffi, I’m a pleek” etc 😅). Maybe the fact it’s both happening simultaneously may explain the intensity?! 🤞
Yep!! My little girl has been yelling a lot and swipes at me when she gets frustrated now, which is very out of character for her. Lots of tears over nothing and generally being difficult. Hopefully it’s just a phase that passes soon 🤞
Wow, I’m glad we aren’t alone 🫠🤣 Are your little ones all SO emotional? It’s the crying and shouting over the littlest thing we are finding really hard?! X
Yes so today she cried because she asked me for some chocolate...and I said "yes of course"😟😟😟😟I do feel bad for them bless them xx
Yes, my other half / her dad took her to M&S this evening and she cried if he took just one step away from her trolley (love their mini trolleys). And she cried with me because I offered to go with her to the toilet to help. She’s spent all day saying she feels sad and “not good” and that nothing will make her feel better 🥺 it’s so heartbreaking
is your LO eating more/complaining about their feet or legs hurting? There's a growth spurt around 3 yo. My toddler is usually very complaint but these past few weeks she's been waking up at night, eating more and complaining LOADS about everything. She's also been sleeping in a lot.
