@Alex Ivan loves dancing fruits as well š yeah weāre about the same. Heās loves Zoo Lane so I just leave him to it sometimes š
@Raeshan haha yeah definitely have to pick your battles sometimes!!! X
Mine loves desperate housewives š I just pop her in front of the tv watching bear in the big blue house while I sort the kitchen in the morning which is about half an hour!
@Izzy yeah Iāve just done the exact same! Managed it all, fed him and now heās having a nap!x
I let my baby watch on YouTube the super simple songs ānoodle and palsā a few of the little videos each day. She absolutely loves them and smiles/laughs more than she does with any toy as soon as she sees Noodle lol! I usually have the TV on in the day and try to face her away from it, but she does watch MAFS sometimesš
0 screen time until 2 years old š
My little girl watches it here and there say for 10 mins max at a time whilst i sort the kitchen out in the morning and if shes getting tired and i need to get bits done before her sleep as she will only contact nap she loves hey duggee and will sit and smile as well as making little sounds too him and theres always something on in the background but she isnt interested all the time only if she actually wants to be x
@Tibet thatās amazing that you manage to get everything done without it! Iād still be sat on my sofa with nothing done if he wasnāt watching Zoo Lane this morning x
@jasmine yeah Iām the same! Iāve started doing Ivanās morning nap downstairs and heās been done 45 mins in his Moses, only 5 of that on me whilst he fell asleep! I used to leave him in his next to me with the baby monitor whilst getting stuff done but heād wake as soon as I left the room! Super odd because heās out like a light in there come bed time š
None as we don't own a TV and I don't think it's good for them really, but I understand how helpful it can be to entertain them while we do something else. I do most of the chores during her naps or I take her with me to do laundry etc.
@Audrey thatās fair. I prefer to do my chores whilst heās awake or Iād never get time for myself
@Raeshan aww š„ŗ whatever helps you to finish your chores and get some rest girl xx
No TV so far, he's turning 11w on Saturday... while I'm washing the bottles I put him either on his swing or the Tripp Trapp next to me in the kitchen and talk to him now and again ~ will try to avoid any screen time until he's 6 months at least š
None.

If Iām honest ⦠none unless itās a little bit here and there of what Iām watching and heās having a feed. But usually I put the radio on so he doesnāt get distracted and if I want some downtime I watch something but Iām sat with him on the floor and playing with him, tummy time etc. Whilst I totally see the benefits and the occasional 10 mins for some sanity is needed, Iāve also seen the other end of babies who become so reliant on screen time itās actually scary.
I have a 2 year old so our tv is always on. Sometimes he watches it and sometimes it's background noise whilst he plays. My 11 week old watches some and loves the lion king soundtrack. Literally the only thing to calm her down. I'm not worried about development because my 2 year old is advanced in all sections and he's always had a bit of screen time. We don't allow tablets and stuff like my in laws have suggested. Won't have him glued to a screen when we have plenty of educational toys and books for him to sit with.
@Jamie weāll be the same. Ivan wonāt be having a tablet. We never did as kids and itās not something I agree with personally but a little bit of 64 Zoo Lane and Winnie the Pooh here and there is fine by me!
We are obsessing over dancing fruit and married at first sight š I would say he has 20/30 mins per day and thatās usually split first thing whilst I wash his bottles etc and get set up for the day and then after dinner so I can tidy up and get everything ready for bedtime! X
