@Jessica the struggle 😭
How is he nursing during the day? How is his sleep during the day? Both my babies had similar sleep patterns, he is 10 weeks tomorrow and does on *most* nights a stretch of anything between 5-6.5 hrs (last night I woke up at 4am to pee and did a dream feed so he slept 8.5 hours), of course on occasion we have a night where he’s waking frequently. I feed him (and did same for my daughter) a lot in the day! Sometimes as frequent as 45 mins from last feed! He’s very chunky but she was not, and was sleeping same. I do believe the biggest reason they both have been sleeping so long, is because we co-sleep. I don’t think we’d get these stretches otherwise:( I will be training him to sleep in his crib next week so we’ll see! I used paid feature of Huckleberry for my daughter when she was about 4 months old, but it wasn’t worth it to me personally. Nice yes, but not worth paying for. I am using the free version religiously for both of them as I love to accurately track feeds and sleep!
I use Huckleberry and just recently started the sleep schedules. His main issue was sleep during the day not coming easily for him and it has helped me maintain more consistent naps. His overnight sleep has been 4.5 hour stretches for the past couple weeks with the occasional 5-6 hour sleep.
@Vivien he’s been nursing roughly every 2-2.5 hours during the day. I wonder if last night was just different because he’s going through a growth spurt or something? I was bed sharing but realized he is content to sleep on his crib. We can put him down awake and he falls asleep. So I figured why should I stop him? I did bring him into bed last night around 4am when he was taking a little longer to fall back asleep. But he woke up at the 2 hour mark again
@Veronica yeah if he’s happy to sleep in his bed that’s amazing! I wish my kids would like that 😂 hopefully it changes course now and you start getting those longer stretches!! 🤞
Following because I too would like longer stretches before returning to work
