I tried to keep drinking coffee but it made me feel sick >_< and I don’t drink soda anyway.
Soda yes. I don’t drink soda or energy drinks, ever, anyway. That’s easy. Coffee, no. I need my coffee lol. I drink 2C a day pregnant and 3C a day BF. I’d say it’s what helped me w my Pp weight loss as well lol because I make a coffee instead of eating.
I didn't drink coffee anyway, and i absolutely was not giving up the only think i coukd drink 😂
I love coffee and I couldn’t stand the taste of it lol
I didn’t really drink much of either beforehand. What I did have to give up was margaritas! 😭😭 Didn’t realize I was pregnant and still had a few during my first month. 😅
I don’t like hot drinks but to begin with i craved Coke, but after about a month i then went to ice cold Sparkling water.. always hated it until i fell pregnant 😂😂
I went to decaf tea and decaf Pepsi max probably had like 1 can a day xxx
Nope. I only drink sprite and root beer both caffeine free, and coffee on special occasions but I’m not giving up my extra shot lol
I wasn't big on soda anyway and try to eat on the healthier side. My regulars are green tea, herbal teas, spring water, and coconut water. 😍 I was big on coffee for years, but I can easily go without now. I still enjoy a brew once every few months, though, from a local coffee shop.
Soda yes coffee reduced to very few weeks after the second trimester
I clicked nope before I read reduced but I do reduce.
I stay away from high caffeine now, like energy drinks. But I can't give up caffeine. I cut down a lot for over a week, and I had a migraine from it for a week straight so I had to drink more caffeine, my doctor actually told me to drink caffeine. My mom never gave up caffeine during any of her pregnancies. We all turned out just fine. I just still try to stay within the caffeine limit maximum
I put both but I never drank them in the first place, I can’t stand coffee and carbonated drinks give me sensory issues haha
Never really drank coffee but I did cut out dark soda and only drink sprite here and there

Soda yes! I was coffee-free until my LO was 18 months. Were struggling with sleep again and it feels the body is not handling it well anymore so I definitely need coffee.
If you mean when pregnant no you can have up to 200mg of caffeine per day but ofc i would only have a small cup and sugar free soda
Coffee I naturally gave up, I just completely stopped enjoying it and this is the 3rd time it's happened. Soda because I have gestational diabetes (so not by choice) 🤷♀️
Went cold turkey with coffee but didn’t give up fizzy drinks/soda
I was never a big coffee or soda drinker to begin with, so no 😂 even when I do drink coffee, I prefer a little coffee with my creamer/sweetener lmao and I prefer soda slightly watered down/over ice so it’s not so fizzy to me. Is anyone else the same, or is that just me? Lol
If I'm honest I have been craving full fat coke 🤣
@Liz not even judging girl I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. This baby was conceived somewhere after my last period and the day my next period was supposed to start I was put clubbing 😭😭
@Shanice I never liked Pepsi I've always preferred sprite but my whole pregnancy I've been so addicted to cherry Pepsi I would be crying for it 😭😭 if it's not cherry Pepsi I wouldn't drink it thank god I still passed my glucose 🙏🏽
@Heaven I need coffee too lol I work an early shift and the baby thinks it's party time in the womb when it's time to sleep I need to be awake I ❤️ coffee
@Jay before pregnancy I wouldn't really drink any fizzy if I did it had to be no sugar free. Now everything has to be full fat 🤣 I'm obsessed with sweets tooo. Luckily I don't have to have that test
I had decaf Pepsi and only had one small coffee with caffeine or would have decaf x
No, irn bru (sometimes Lucozade) was my thing as plain lucozade was only thing I could keep down early days as I had bad morning sickness, and I craved tea, so I had a caffeine calculator and stuck with that, so I as having maybe one cup of tea a day and one can of irn bru, would have milk and water the rest of the time xx
I’m pretty sure I do the same amount I did before I’m just thinking about it now.
I hadn’t had soda or coffee in a year before I got pregnant… and then the exhaustion hit and tea wasn’t enough… and then I craved a McDonald’s coke every day for the last 5 months 😂😂😂 guilty pleasures I’ve since given up again after he was born.
I have never drunk coffee but stopped drinking fizzy drinks (soda) for over ten years as they suddenly made me ill. Now I might have one a year and then I quickly remember why I gave them up!

I don't really drink either, so it wasn't a big deal. I never drink coffee as is, soda was like the very rare occasional treat, so I just never got it. But! You technically don't have to cut them out. You just have to stay below a certain amount a day (8oz? I can't remember what it is)
I quit both while pregnant because they made me nauseated but picked them up right back again a couple weeks after giving birth.
I think soda is gross to begin with and I quit caffeine by the last mo because it takes the fetus significantly longer to process caffeine than the mother and I don't wish caffeine withdrawal on a baby
Never drank coffee but I do drink fizzy pop and I’ve continued to drink it as much as I did before pregnancy 😅
I had to give up coffee because it makes me feel absolutely awful while pregnant 🫠 I don’t drink soda when I’m not pregnant but when I’m pregnant I crave it so I drink it
Nope, no need to lol. I reduced what I drank to stay well within the recommended maximums.
