Nursery losing things

My little girl has lost so many item since being at nursery has anyone else experienced this? I’ve been letting it slide like the odd vest, top, socks etc but a few weeks ago I sent her in some fairly new comfy flare leggings. She had got her whole outfit wet so they changed her but in her dirty wash bag the leggings were missing. I contacted them and I got no reply then i was meant to ask in person but my daughter become ill so I feel like now it’s been left too long to ask about them again. I label all of her clothes with stamps, I only buy cheap clothes for nursery and I expect them to become stained/ grubby but I didn’t expect to be constantly replacing missing items. It’s the same with hair bobbles, she’s come home without them in. I sent her with a bow hair clip last week (just to keep her hair out her eyes) and she came home without that. Is this normal? We already pay so much for her to hardly go because of constant illnesses and now I’m having to fork out to replace stuff too 😂🙈

Ours is exactly the same 🤣. My son has lost soo many clothes and a bobble hat too. I can’t understand where they go! Surely if they went home in someone else’s bag, they would have brought them back?! I only buy cheap clothes from supermarkets/vinted/Primark for nursery too but it’s still really annoying.

My LBs old nursery were losing things all the time, or sending him home in girls clothes/socks etc. I always used to email them as soon as I got home and then speak to them when I next took him in, regardless of how long it'd been. I always stamp all of his clothes as well so I found it frustrating with the frequency it was happening. It clearly wasn't just my LBs stuff they were losing as they always had posters up of clothes/outfits etc that had gone missing. I'd definitely speak to them about the lost items and ask that they look for them/pop a notice up with your missing items x
