A&E or monitor?

Lo is 5 months. He was sat upright on the sofa (popped him there for a sec while I went and made a milk, open plan living room kitchen) I heard my lamp fly off the window sill and a plant. I had the window open so a gust of wind, it didn't look like it hit him at first but he cried. Calmed down pretty quickly then I noticed these. He's fine in himself just a bit upset but he's tired so that's more than likely why. I've read not to take them to a&e anymore and just monitor unless it's obviously bad but unsure?

I’d just monitor and see how he is the rest of the day. I wouldn’t class it as an emergency so wouldn’t go to A&E. If you are unsure, maybe call 111 or your gp

I would call 111, they’ll let you know what to look out for 😌

Thanks both, I wasn't sure as I know it used to be straight to A&E. He's still his happy giggly self just has one tiny red mark on the side of his head with no bump

Is the red mark on the front next to his soft spot? If yes, I’d get checked just in case

@Eliza yeah just behind, the redness went after like 2 mins of posting this
