@Rachel Oh, of course! How could I have forgotten about that. It makes so much (non)sense. I will blindly follow that man right off of a cliff if he tells me it's in my best interest. Thank you so much for clarifying. Back to drinking my Kool aid. Phew! That was a close one! I almost had to face reality!
I was literally thinking this early today. They will follow him straight to the pits of hell and say it ain’t hot!
@ALI Hooray for fascism! 🎉 Hooray for our new oligarchy! 🎉 🤣😅🤢
Saw this coming and also voted for it 🫡 🦅 🇺🇸
@Rosalie not trying to attack you but why?
@ALI in my experience, they never respond with anything substantial. I'll be surprised if she has legitimate and good reasons.
This video is hilarious. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBtxD5rxm5I/?igsh=Z3Y1a2NzM2xycm9m
@Parker 又 😅🤣🤣 But also 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I can see why you feel the way you do, and I appreciate your perspective. However, I believe it's important to consider all the factors that influence the economy, including global events, policies from previous administrations, and other external circumstances. The value of the dollar is impacted by many variables, and while leadership plays a role, it’s not always as simple as a direct correlation between one person and the overall economy. I think it’s important for us to have these discussions with an open mind and understand that there are often multiple sides to every issue.
I love how people say this when their side is working but use the same argument for the other side. @Alexis and I’m not saying this as a jab to another, it’s literally the facts.
@ALI I hear what you’re saying, but I want to clarify I’m not using the same argument for both sides. I genuinely believe the Democratic policies over the last few years have caused serious damage to the economy. Whether it’s inflation driven by excessive spending, the impact of certain regulations on small businesses, or the energy policies that affected gas prices I think those decisions had real consequences. Now, with Trump stepping in (or trying to step back in), he’s dealing with the fallout of those choices. Fixing an economy isn’t instant it takes time, and often the solutions require making tough decisions that may not be popular right away, but are necessary in the long run. That’s why I said leadership plays a role but it’s also about what that leadership inherits and how they handle it. I just think it’s more productive when we look at the full picture rather than assuming it’s always just about who's currently in office.
@Alexis with all the open mind, all the external factors haven't caused so much damage in previous administrations. All this chaos was created by his decisions.
@Alexis that’s my exact point. What the leadership inherits and how they handle it is always the argument.
@Alexis it’s not a double standard at all. Democrats say, we need time to undo what republicans did. Republicans say we need time to undo what democrats did. Now, I absolutely disagree with the other parts of your statements but what I was saying-same argument, both sides, all the time. “Fixing an economy isn’t instant…” is the same cry from both sides when it’s their turn. And every time it’s the others turn they want grace to see the full picture but don’t extend that same grace or time when the shoe is on the other foot.

Don’t put me in with the US I may live here but I don’t wanna be here 😭 I did not vote for the annoying orange damn it!
@Alexis how would you explain that much of this has happened from March to now? If it was previous admins fault, this would have been the case since January and before. The fact that most of it declined within the last month is a large indicator of it being the current admins shortcomings with their policies.
@ALI Not looking for a comments debate, and thanks for asking so kindly! ❤️ The logic of temporary upheaval during a transitory time for the sake of long term financial sustainability makes sense to me. At the very least it’s an actual plan to wean us off of dependence on other countries, which is better than the way the govt has been operating for the last several decades imo 🤷🏻♀️
@Rosalie absolutely and thanks for sharing your views. I don’t think anyone…or any country can survive in isolation. Interdependence is crucial and having allies is key. Unfortunately, I don’t think this upheaval will be temporary. And financial sustainability is okay but if it’s at the cost of human lives, dignity, the loss of our values-that I can’t support. Our government hasn’t always been great, but this…this ain’t it. Thanks for giving me a chance to respond.
Noo no, didn’t you get the memo that it all has to go to shit before it gets better? There may be a recession that will of course only really impact the lower and middle class, but they don’t matter anyway. Trump is America’s savior 😇 (sarcasm)
