Premie babies

This has been the longest most exhausting week of my life. Last Monday 4/7 i gave birth to my triplet girls via C-section. I got to come home Friday but my girls are still in then NICU. I’m grateful the only issues they’re having is regulating body temp and not eating enough. However leaving that hospital was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. 😭😭

You got this Mama! You don’t know how long they’re going to be in there,do you?

@Savannah as of right no. I’ve asked a couple times and they said it’s not even on their radar right now.

My boy was 30 weeks. He had several things they were regulating. He stayed almost two months. The nurses were major help and explained what some of the monitors were so it eased my concern. You’ll do fine just give yourself time to feel your emotions and enjoy your skin to skin time.

This is the most relatable thing I’ve seen today 😭I had my twins about a month ago & getting discharged & driving away from the hospital made me a complete wreck. No one talks about the feeling of leaving your babies behind in the nicu, there were times i felt like i couldn’t be the mom i wanted to be because they were being cared for by the nurses. They’ll be home soon! you’ll be surprised how fast babies move when they get the hang of it. I look at it as God’s way of allowing you to rest up before the restless nights come cause since they’ve been home….i feel like a zombie 😭
