It’s an adjective use it or don’t
Also a way to put an asterisk next to the word woman so certain groups can align with both sides. Kinda like sitting on both sides of the fence.

@Ari I don't have a problem I still thinks stupid like people changing their genders but it's not my body and it doesn't affect me I just wanted a better understanding.

OP the term is easy to find on Google if you want to find out why people use it. You didn’t make this poll to get an answer to that question. You made this poll, incognito I might add, to get your opinion out there. Which is fine. But don’t play stupid.

@Brittany I don't understand why people want to change their genders (i think its also stupid amongst other things), I could look it up but Google to understand the process but getting personal understanding on why people do things is better than Google.

OP, nobody is saying you have to use the term cis, nobody is even saying you have to understand why people transition. but to say 'changing genders' is stupid is just ignorant and unnecessary. just stop talking about it if you think it's so stupid. also, i think it's pretty stupid spouting transphobia on incognito lol🙄

Just because something does not affect you or you do not have experience with it, does not make it fake or wrong or whatever. You say you do not understand why people want to change their genders. You do not need to understand it. You do have to respect it.
You don’t “need” to use it. I say “woman” or “trans woman.” If someone’s offended by that, boo hoo.

Using "cis" and "trans" is only really relevant in medical or research settings. It matters more to some people than others.
