I got married in west room. It was actually really nice. We also work in a pub outside the city centre so managed to hire out a section & get a buffet together which was cheap enough for us as we only had a small wedding. Then decorations etc I got off shein, we had a sage green, floral kind of vibe. And I don’t think decorations even touched £100. Buffet was £200ish, but that was £10 pp, and we only had 15 people to the actual event but catered for 20.
We have booked west room for August 2025 been to look around a few restaurants today that have private dining we looked at browns , black house and a few other places
I attended a Leeds wedding last month, they got married in Leeds minster and then the after do was at brasserie blanc. We had food and dancing and then in the evening we ordered pizzas

@Stephanie where were you impressed with? We’ve booked Civic hall now so Thursday in July. I’ve enquired at shears yard & lost and found so far. It’s looking quite pricey already 😂
Yes we stayed at brasserie blanc all night, they were the ones who suggested ordering takeaway to the bride and groom to save on costs
Could you rent out an area of a pub or restaurant? To get domino's I'd imagine you'd need to hire out a venue you're allowed to bring your own catering to like some sort of community or church hall.
