We swear by hello fresh. We also save the recipe papers so that we can remake the ones we like. My husbands learned new ways to make all kind of things. $70/3meals and we got unlimited desserts too when we signed up as a promo. My next box comes Thursday if you want I can send you the promo coupon that come with it for new people to sign up, I usually throw them away.
@Alexis thank you so much for commenting! We plan to start with 3 meals also. Yes, please send me the promo. I'm hoping others will comment too. I've seen this new one called Thistle that looks like it would be great for me, but it doesn't look like they'd have anything my husband would like and we need a good balance. I want this to work because the biggest aspect of weight loss is diet and we aren't doing great there. But I also need help in the kitchen. My husband cooks too, but like I said, we aren't too creative or healthy.
Oh! You’re incognito, if you want to message me, I’ll set an alarm to remind me. 💕
I use CookUnity. The food is so good!
Hey gousto!
I tried hello fresh and I was impressed with the ingredients and recipes. The nice thing is you can reuse those recipes to help you make meal plans later. I think it’s a great idea to do meal service!1
We swap between Hello Fresh, Everyplate and Marley spoon we wait for any deals and snap it up for those 3 or so months. And swap. I’ve kept all the recipe sheets so when we don’t have a delivery I can still replicate it by buying my own ingredients many of them I have already. I like buying the 6 meals a week but that actually lasts us 2w so we get a delivery fortnightly
I did Hello fresh with my mom during lockdown to teach her to cook. I personally didnt think it was that great in terms of ingredients. For example, they clearly love using sour cream. There were tweaks I did to make the dishes healthier at times, but I knew them since I do cook. I have heard good things about home chef, but I don't necessarily like the menu they show. Hello fresh was more ... regular food for regular people and their repetition (same cook strategies) helped my mom learn to cook. FYI -hello fresh recipes are available on their website without the subscription so you can just print them yourself and do your own shopping for free.
I tried Hello Fresh and Purple Carrot years ago. Hello Fresh is more of a crowd pleaser. My elderly parents who like bland food liked it. Purple Carrot is better for foodies who want to try new things.
@Alexis thank you so much. I'm starting with purple carrot, but I'm going to do as others have suggested and rotate to see which one I like best. I will likely come back to these comments in a week or so to get this discount from you. Thank you!!
If you was in florida i teach you how to cook
