2 almost 3

Can any parents give me advice on what to do when my daughter starts kicking and screaming over things not going her way or happening fast enough. I’m not sure if anyone can relate but if my daughter can’t put her toy together correctly or needs me to do something she screams. I noticed she screams a lot she can communicate but I can’t understand certain things but is anyone going through this? 🥺 I try my best to calm her down but she just won’t how do I know whether to be concerned or Not

I don’t think you need to be concerned. This is a big independent stage where they want to do everything but sometimes they can’t and it’s probably very frustrating for their little minds. Of course you will have to deal with it with whatever you feel is best but I would do your best to stay as calm as you can. I have to tell myself constantly “if you can’t keep your cool and not freak out, how can I expect her to do the same?” It’s such a hard stage with emotions, wish I could help more. Good luck, this won’t be forever!

I heard "ignore the tantrum, not the toddler" and that really helped me. It took a lot of willpower, but trying to communicate in a level-minded way helped my daughter bring it down a notch lol

It's real hard. I have no advice to give, but to wait it out. Less verbals, more non verbals.
