I love the way Adalyn (A-duh-lin) sounds but I hate the spelling it just looks off in all different spelling but I also really like very Alayna (uh lay nuh)

I love the name Adalyn, I like it spelt Adalynn too! Do you have a middle name you’re going to use too or just first and last name?? Adaline might end up being pronounced by teachers etc like Madeline if that makes sense? Like A-duh-line rather than A-duh-lin??xx

@Leona we don’t have a middle name yet still trying to figure it out 😂 honestly my names has been pronounced wrong my whole life I’ve been correcting people since I was 5 so idk if I want her to feel that pain too

I’d pronounce Adaline as “add-uh-line.” Which is a beautiful name but doesn’t sound like what you’re going for.

Adalyn is pretty I like it. Something along the lines of a middle name like Eliza; Elyza; Eliyza, or Nevaeh would be cute. Just a suggestion.

Adalyn and Alayna are both nice. Alayna was on my girl names list but my husband said no. Other names similar: Adele Adalia Alyssia Alara Alana Alena

I prefer the actual name- Adeline anyway

I don’t personally think Adaline is better spelling but I think it’s a nice option if you don’t like Adalyn. Another similar option is Adeline.
