Advice for taking a baby to an event

Hey girlies! So, my sister has her college graduation coming up, and I’m looking for tips on bringing a 13 month old. It’s about 3 hours long, and I think it’s outside, how can I keep her entertained? She’s very loud, but maybe with everything that will be going in she’ll be occupied? I know if she starts crying I can take her out, I’m just nervous because this is my first time going anywhere like this with her

I honestly think because it’s such a busy event that she’ll be fine! Just looking around and people watching will be all the entertainment she needs. I always bring snacks as back up in case my daughter gets fussy. And on very rare occasions that doesn’t work I will pull my phone out and let her watch a little bit of a show she likes

I also think she’ll be occupied by people watching. If not… Ms Rachel. SNACKS. Favorite toys?

If it's outside I'd plan to bring some baby/kid sunscreen, a hat and something for keeping cool. If you have a wagon you can set it up so that if she gets tired she can lay down, or play with some toys and hang out. IDK about how loud it will be but noise cancelling headphones would be a good idea too.

When in doubt snack it out. My baby loves interactive toys or a random toy she’s never seen before and some snacks (: good luck!!

Snacks and new toys!

My favorite is bringing the grandparents lol, they have no problem helping entertain when needed 🤣
