That’s what I am going to do.
I also had this recently with my baby and when i took her to the gp they said they have to check with paediatricians as they werent sure whether its normal or not. GP said it could be a reflex or due to reflux or something else related to the nervous system.
Also my GP wanted a recording of her shivering
Yes I searched, they need a video to contact paediatrics.
Asked heal baby care app and sharing in case it helps: "It's understandable to feel concerned when you notice something unusual with your little one. Shivering in infants can sometimes be a normal response to being tired or transitioning to sleep, but it can also indicate discomfort or a reaction to temperature changes. Since this has happened twice, it would be wise to monitor it closely. If it happens again, recording the duration and context can be helpful for your GP. However, if you feel uneasy or if your baby shows other signs of distress, it's perfectly okay to reach out to your GP for advice sooner. How is your baby’s overall mood and behavior outside of these shivering episodes?"
Has he had jabs recently? If so, take him in right away. It’s usually completely normal but it’s better to be safe as if it turns out to be something early intervention is very helpful
Possible infection
@Hind first time i noticed was after his 16 week jabs but my health visitor my husband my perinatal mental health nurse all think its just in my mind.
@Heaven he is just as normal. Happy, playful, sleeps good. He doesn’t show any sign of discomfort or being ill
I’d call gp tomorrow morning for a check up. In audition take him to your local HV drop in to ask about it as well. It’s probably nothing but best to check it with a health professional 🙂
